Intriguing development reported within last Thursday's Sid Smith Diary entry for the Krimson website:
Elsewhere, Jakko was on the blower tonight. He tells me that Guy Evans of VDDG fame will be doing the Schizoid Band gig in Florence. Nice one.

Increasingly 21st Century Schizoid Band seem to be relatively loose collective of musicians, most but not necessarily all former Krimson members - for instance, Jakko (ex. the legendary 64 Spoons band, Level 42 and various solo projects including an ep essentially backed by former members of Japan - Jakko can sound quite Holdsworthian at times), while Bootleg Volume 1 album has one of Giles brothers on drums and Bootleg Volume 3  has Mr Wallace.

Yes, I understand about 21CSB... I actually know a couple of them pretty well.  I've been friends with Ian McDonald for almost 30 years now... and was a little disappointed that when they appeared here in April, that Michael had once again left and been replaced by Ian Wallace.  So I got to meet Ian Wallace for the first time.  It was really good to see Mel Collins who has to be one of the sweetest and gentlest guys in the business  I know...

I constantly give Jakko a hard time about singing certain songs tho.. He even make a joke during one of the shows I was at and said he doesn't do Moonchild, cause a certain individual in the audience threatened to throw up if he did...

By the way, Jakko is Michael Giles' son-in-law... and the only non-ex Crimson member.
