Did anyone else feel really let down by this album? Tyranny was
just so good, and the compositions set such a high standard. But Room V
seemed to lack in that area. Too much guitar and keyboard
w**kery, its like theyre trying to be Dream Theater. For
instance, the song "Room V" couldve been amazing if they didnt go on
that tangent after a couple of minutes.
This is probably an album where I wouldve been fine with them not "evolving"

I never really liked them that much in the first place, but Room V is not as good sa Tyranny IMO.

I don't care much for metal, or Shadow Gallery for that matter, but I enjoyed this album.

Their best album ... but they're all very well made. I recently re-discovered Carved in Stone, it has been on heavy rotation in my player. But Room V is their most mature album and combines the best of their other albums.
