While I did decide to make the earlier polls vote for just one poll option (and mention as many as you like), this time I will go back to multiple-votes with vote for five, or more, or less, entries. So please try to vote for and list in a post five entries in the poll, but if that proves too heard, feel free to vote for more (and less is fine too).

I thought this might be a fun way to link to these charts, and always interested to see what people like and choose and to choose myself even if I have a good idea of most people's tastes at the forum.

-------------------------------------------------------

I would like to vote for over half of these, but will try to limit to some of my favourites. If I had to choose just five, these have all been desert island picks for me, and I will give these five my votes, plus one more for Haxan.

Robert Wyatt - Rock Bottom
Peter Hammill - The Silent Corner and the Empty Stage
Gong - You
Eskaton - 4 visions
Bubu - Anabelas

Also love (and most of these have at times been desert island picks):

Art Zoyd - Haxan
Focus - Hamburger Concerto
Khan - Space Shanty
Nucleus - We'll Talk About It later
Led Zeppelin - IV
National Health - Of Queues and Cures
Museo Rosenbach - Zarathustra
Hermann Szobel - Szobel
Il Balletto di Bronzo - Ys

I also have loved the Supertramp, Bacamarte, Maxophone, Cobham many years ago...

1) Supertramp
2) Led Zeppelin
3) Jean-Luc Pony
4) Billy Cobham
5) Al Di Meola

Surprised that Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy is not in the top 250, especially considering it's that band's most Prog album.

Three for which I haven't voted yet in any of your polls (as far as I remember):
Supertramp, Eskaton, Al Di Meola.
One I can't vote around:
Art Zoyd
Best of the rest:
Mmmh, tough. National Health today, but could be Bubu or Gong.

PS:
Rock Bottom - Rock Bottom is actually Robert Wyatt? That cost him the vote that he'd otherwise have had.

Just a copy paste error of course on Robert Wyatt. It’s the first one I mentioned of my picks and one can cross check with the chart. Five votes is merely a suggestion, one can vote for more if one likes.

Nope. Robert Wyatt has to suffer, and it's your fault. Tongue

As if the fall was not enough, now he really knows the meaning of Rock Bottom.

Gong's You  is my favorite here.

I use to listen a lot of RPI, so I give a vote to Museo Rosenbach, Maxophone and Il Balleto di Bronzo.

The last vote is for Bacamarte from Brazil.

(Led Zeppelin and Supertramp are great albums in my book, but they already have a lot of votes)

Khan - Space Shanty
Nucleus - We'll Talk About It later
Led Zeppelin - IV
National Health - Of Queues and Cures
Supertramp - Crime of the Century
Hermann Szobel - Szobel
Bubu - Anabelas
All Traps on Earth - A Drop of Light
Il Balletto di Bronzo - Ys
Eskaton - 4 Visions

13 of the 25 I would not want to live without!

Sometimes an album that appears to be right up my alley, but has previously passed under my radar - suddenly starts popping up several places at once. Like this one during the last couple of days. So now I'm planning to familiarize myself with it.

^Listening for the second time right now. Amazing music. I almost wish I had discovered this one around the time when I found Dün, Vortex, Dedalus and all these incredible treasures. But then again I wouldn't have been listening to it for the first time today:)

^ I had not listened to the album for quite some time. It was good to hear it again.
