Vesuve for Post Rock

Not much info available for the band, so the biography is brief:

Vesuve is a post rock trio from Montpellier, France that formed in January 2020. Members include Victor Bassinot on bass, Cyril Winmill on guitar, and Julien Vesuve on drums. The band released a demo EP in November 2020 and started performing live shortly after, including opening for the band Toundra twice during their 2022 European tour. In the summer of 2022 the band began recording their first LP "Pline" which was self-released in February 2023 on vinyl, CDr, and digital download. The album describes the journey of Pliny the Elder, killed by the eruption of Vesuvius. As of 2025, the band continues to perform live at various local French venues.

As you may know, Pline (Plinius his Latin name) was an ancient scientist who was on a ship far enough from the Vesuvium to avoid being killed by the Pompeii eruption, but close enough to witness it and report the thing on a book.
He is a very important hystorical character in my town, as the remains of his house (a villa) are just at about 2km from my home. The villa is frequented by satanist groups for their sabbaths, I don't know why.

Nothing to do with the band, just a bit of trivia about Pline.

I didn't know that. Thank you so much for the info.
