A hilarious, fantastic show with highly skilled and motivated performers in great sound and picture quality. Most of them may be old, but they are still at the top of their game

There are birthdays where the whole day goes by and I don't listen to anything, but in the past there were three classics. Turn of the Cards by Renaissance, with that epic classicism of grand salons that reminds me of Visconti's Ludwig or Nikita Mihalkov's A Few Days from the Life of I.I. Oblomov. Nadir's Big Chance by Peter Hammill, from which I borrow that accelerated immediacy, characteristic of youth and which returns...as each of us returns to being the same as in the past when we meet someone we knew in the past...and Barulhinho Bom: Uma Viagem Musical by Marisa Monte, which isn't prog but spans many climates and eras, back when Monte still sounded like the wild Gal Costa of the '70s and the intimacy of Edu Lobo. I associate them with the emotional roller coaster that sometimes overwhelms a personal anniversary like this...a mixture of critical revisionism and a supposedly melancholic happiness.
