An all-inclusive series of polls with an asterisk marking albums NOT featuring Bill Bruford. Just three artists remaining now, but with three more polls still to go after this one. Yes, that's all the Drama I'll need.

Yes currently have a 3-1 lead over King Crimson, but I have a sneaking suspicion that King Crimson are going to win this one, although I'll be Red-faced again if I'm wrong.

for me, Yes would sneak it although I think Red is also stunning...
but I really can't bring myself to vote for an album Bruford didn't perform on... in a Bruford Poll?
so I'll leave it there.

I also feel off voting for non-Bruford ones in this series despite Paul having made the intentions clear. Perhaps I should feel more uncomfortable voting when I don't know one-third of the releases. I know very little of Bill Bruford's Earthworks, but at least I have made that clear in posts.
Anyway, I will happily vote for Red. It's a great album and of course it has Bruford. I like Relayer, but surely Red means much more to me. and Bill Bruford over Alan White from what I know. I should listen to "Levin Torn White" at some time.

I understand that.... I grew up with Relayer and have always loved tGoD to bits... but if I'm honest, Red is probably more likely to get a spin these days?

It's another Yes vote for me, obviously.
By the way, I just dug up another Earthworks album this morning, so there's still another four Bruford's Bundle polls to go yet (regardless of what I said in the intro).

^ I'm thankful that I so rarely listen through one and two stars for my tastes releases. After this, I'm out of the series. King Crimson and Yes share something in common for me, well, more than one thing, it's the 1969 to 1974 period that matters the most to me (with King Crimson being more consistently strong and mature throughout the period).

^^ Unlike King Crimson, I grew up with Yes (well, at least as a teenager), but in my early 30s being recommended In the Court of the Crimson King at a sci-fi forum has been more important to my journey this millennium. And KC became the more significant to me band as I discovered that and its other albums as an adult. I will always have a very soft spot for Fragile, I do think that Relayer is an excellent album and Yes still remains significant and relevant to me. Red tro me is really awesome, though. About twenty years ago I played it to the friend who introduced me to Yes when we were kids, and he just said that it sounds like Yes. What's next, "Prince Rupert Awakes" sounds like Meshuggah? Just being silly there with the Meshuggah comment.

Yes, it's most likely the only poll where I've ever voted for Relayer, although it wasn't a hard choice, if I'm honest.

I'm probably in a very small minority Greg, but Lizard is my favourite KC album... I really rate Red, it's unique, and Starless on USA never fails to send a profound shiver down my spine... but I can listen to Lizard far more regularly..
