And let's tackle 2018 as well, quite a good year in my humble opinion! You know the drill. Star

You might get a taste of them by playing anything by Meshuggah, Animals As Leaders, Periphery or Tesseract. The "Big 4" of djent, no? Smile

I just listened to this unholy racket by Meshuggah, so I think I'll take a rain check on listening to any more "djenty music" - at least until Hell freezes over anyway. Tongue

^ Okay, that was a big improvement over the godawful sound of Meshuggah, although it couldn't have been any worse. Tongue

You might as well try 'Wax Wings' or 'Silhouette' from Periphery's latest album, which I do enjoy quite a lot.

I like Vector and remember putting it high up on my AOTY selction for that year. I purchased Wasteland and was a bit disappointed , wasn't the usual Riverside sound which was understandable after the tragic death of their guitarist. Those are the only 2 albums on the list I'm familiar with.
