Hello !
Please help me identify a song I only heard once , and I`ve been looking for ,for years !!!
I heard the song on the Accuradio website on either their "Garage rock" channel or their "Psychedelic Classic Rock" channel.
It was most likely a song from the 60`s as another song I discovered on that listening session was The Blues MaGoos - We Ain't Got Nothin' Yet.
The only thing about that song I can still remember all these years later is the guitar solo in the middle of the song which was very psychedelic.
It had a very psychedelic effect by having its speed altered by probably having the tape being played at a faster speed , but just for the guitar solo.

Are you familiar with the guitarist Les Paul after which the famous guitar is named ?
In the 50`s he did alot of instrumentals or songs with the group Les Paul & Mary Ford...alot of those recording featured manipulation of the speed of the tape to obtain different sonic effects.

Here is the best example I can think of : Les Paul - Caravan

In this song you can hear different layers of guitars , some that are sped up ...hopefully you get the idea.

Basically the song I am looking for is a Garage rock/Psychedelic Rock song from the 60`s in which the guitar solo is a very fast/ high-pitched , virtuosic\psychedelic sounding guitar sound obtained by playing the tape of the guitar faster.
Hopefully you can help me.
Thank you very much !!!
