Hello ProgArchives Community, We’re excited to announce the release of Prog Legends - Live in Verona 2023, the first live album from Prog Legends, a premier concert show dedicated to celebrating the golden era of progressive rock. The album captures the energy and sophistication of a live performance recorded at the stunning Teatro Alcione in Verona, Italy, on April 29, 2023.
About the BandProg Legends is a tribute concert show conceived and produced by progressive rock enthusiast Kim Marino in 2022. The show pays homage to the legendary bands that defined the prog rock genre, including Genesis, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Yes, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Rush, and more. What sets Prog Legends apart is the emphasis on virtuoso performances, faithful renditions, and modern production techniques. Rather than simply imitating the original works, Prog Legends introduces subtle yet innovative arrangements to bring these timeless masterpieces into a contemporary setting. The lineup features an exceptional group of professional musicians, each with extensive experience in progressive rock and other genres: - Marco Baldi - Guitar
- Andrea Cecchetto - Drums
- Marco Zago - Keyboards
- Lorenzo Di Prima - Bass
- Fabio Dessi - Vocals
