Hey all,

Since so many have been checking out my synth only recording of "Pictures at an Exhibition", I thought some might also like to hear my synth only version of "The Planets" by Holst.  It's the same basic 'classical arranged for synth' idea, but recorded on a much newer synth, a Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 12.

In their early days, King Crimson used to do a live arrangement based on the theme from "Mars" (which appears on the "Epitaph Vol 1 and 2" boxed set) but IIRC, the estate of Holst got upset they weren't asked permission so when they put it on "In the Wake of Poseidon" they altered it and renamed it "The Devil's Triangle"...but it's still arguably based on the main theme from Mars Wink
