Recently, there has been a search for this 70's Dutch-Irish prog rock song. Might be some demo tape.. Sure hope not!! Anyway, some other details: Song was from a radio recorded in the Netherlands.
Of course, good luck! Smile

Excellent song, but I have no clue who the band/artist is. Would like to know for sure.

Great song, playing and even quality vocals. No idea who this it. Reminds me of a lot of early 1970's, lesser known UK prog.

Nice. It's a sort of Uriah Heep with a touch of Krautrock. Of course I have no idea of who is playing, but I would buy the album.

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

The search is mostly primarily in Western Europe. The title is "Today Was Another Day" supposedly.

That vintage prog vibe is definitely there. 'Today Was Another Day' reminds me of those obscure found gems in some dusty old record shop. I’d also like to know if it is a known band or a one off by some talented musicians who disappeared back in the day.

The title is "Tomorrow Is Another Day."

It wouldn't surprise anyone, since Uriah Heep was very popular in the then-West Germany at the time, from where this band called Quadrophonica came. Shortly after releasing their debut single in 1978, they vanished into thin air from the club circuit in Baden-Württemberg. Well, many of those bands, which only started their progressive rock opus at that time and despite being very good, were obliterated by punk and new wave.

Actually, there are two songs in the above posted YouTube video that feature the whole snippet. One can hear them singing the line, "Tomorrow is another day...". Then the track flows into the second song. It's not, however, the sound from their aforementioned single; it's an audience live recording. Of course, without any audience noise overdubbed as was common for official live records in the 1970s.

I kind of get Hawkwind vibes when listening to the audio.

Wow, this is a cool mystery! Which is spot on – that whole Uriah Heep meets Krautrock vibe. This is really one of these hidden gems that managed to slip through the cracks.

What about this?
I've found while searching more about the writers on discogs.
Seems to be even more songs, including "Tomorrow is another day" and "Someone".
https://www.discogs.com/release/14778328-Various-AVC-Rock-Session-79

And there's a copy of it on ebay too, with the same price by the same person selling the Quadrophonica single.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/276076110183

But the time doesn't match up with the 7 minutes of the snippet, unless it's a live recording, extended version, different version, or it could not be the song in question.

And, they seem to have a song named "Brasil", included in this compilation of german songs from the 70's
https://www.discogs.com/release/7500464-Various-Oberschw%C3%A4bische-Top-Bands-79

Needs to be verified, at least it much cheaper than the rest (and curious that no one has ever posted the full compilation on youtube)

Lyrics: My head goes round, the hearing's down Where do I stand, what's all about? Your face ain't agree, what do you feel? Shadows won't stay still, emptiness I can't feel More pain someday, but not for me Tomorrow is another day, and what will be wasn't the day Day is only a dream, the ride is no so long When your feet are moving slowly, turn it on You just watch the days, something strangely fly And hold your life forever Maybe we were wrong, should have been in time Just make it part, together Leave us all the time we have to see Make it last a life so you can come and see what's in me Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever Wasting all my life on you, I'm crying, I'm crying But every day I'm with you, I'm dying, I'm dying Now we have to start a song forever Here we go to start a song Here we go like years ago Forever Wasting all my life on you, I'm crying, I'm crying But every day I'm with you, I'm dying, I'm dying Now we have to start a song forever Here we go to start a song Here we go like years ago Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever
