Finally got to see one of my bucket list bands last night.  I wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't listened to any Gong since Daevid Allen passed.   Happy to report that has now been corrected!   Go see them if you can!

Setlist:

My Guitar Is a Spaceship
Kapital
All Clocks Reset
Rejoice!
Tiny Galaxies >>
My Sawtooth Wake >>
Through Restless Seas I Come >>
Lunar Invocation >>
Master Builder (with Hello Me by Daevid Allen as intro)
Choose Your Goddess

Encore:
Insert Yr Own Prophecy

Hi,

I do not dislike this version of Gong ... but no women, is too much testosterone for me! I'm not into the male  band kind of thing ... and the Gong we all remember not only had Gilly, and the feminine presence was major and important. It kinda takes it all "down" for me ... like there are no women that can help this newer material.

It's just so much ... like the typical rock thing ... all men! I think it's time we stop that and appreciate the talent of women as well. Sorry Gong ... I like you, but not enough anymore!

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

So...I post a thread with only pictures and a setlist...and your response is to focus on some weirdass diatribe re: not enough women in the band.  Ermm

Gender doesn't factor into it, son.  Get a clue and move on.

Why would you even comment on a thread pertaining to a band you "like not enough anymore"?    Ermm

That is bush-league clown activity.  Music has no gender.  Kindly take your trolling elsewhere.

No machismo from these cats - I was at the show in Homer.....first row, center, balcony.  Egggsellent music!  No, it ain't Gilly's Gong, but it is a continuation of that spirit - it was just a purely musical experience; gender only colors that canvas.  My only complaint:  Too short!

I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
