Hello Prog Archives! Our band In Absentia just released our first album at:
https://in-absentia.bandcamp.com/album/as-the-crow-flies
Influences from Zappa, Mahavishnu, Crimson, Rush, UK, Yes, etc.
Check it out and let us know what you think. We're also looking for a new guitar player. It's a remote project so if you can record at home, it doesn't matter where in the world you live.

Listening now - some good stuff here!

I added you to the https://awesomeprog.com/artists/24799" rel="nofollow - Awesome Prog website, which is the site most of our sub genre teams use to keep track of their evaluations.

If the album is going to be available more widely, such as in a physical format, or on streaming/download sevices other than Bandcamp (eg Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon etc), then this sounds like a project that the Jazz Rock/Fusion team might want to take a listen to, but we'd first need some more information about the band's history in the form of at least a short biography, plus a photo we could use on your page if you were accepted. The short introduction to the band that's on Bandcamp at the moment is just a bit light on detail to create something from as it is, so a bit of additional detail about each of the band members would perhaps be useful.

Assuming the project's output is going to be more widely promoted and distributed beyond Bandcamp, you could make your own proposal for addition to Progarchives in the https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=1" rel="nofollow - Suggest New Bands and Artists section of the forum, following https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=122381" rel="nofollow - this guideline , or just post the relevant info here, and we could take it from there.
