Haven't heard any of these, but the live Allan Holdsworth release Blues For Tony is exceptional.

Don't really know any in the list. Matt Berry, the comic actor, composer and musician, is not in PA, but I do expect that I could get him into PA if I worked at suggesting him. In 2009 he released the album Witchazel and I would consider it applicable.

"The Pheasant":

Mr Rick Wakeman. That version of Six Wives includes the track Tudor Rock (for Henry VIII specifically) that was originally intended for the album but the record company wanted to keep it cleaner and just concentrate on the wives. On the DVD you also get the wonderful actor Brian Blessed introducing each track. Highly recommended if you like Rick.

^ Psych is a very significant component of his music overall Overall I'd think Crossover for the pop qualities. A very PA applicable album is, I think Music For Insomniacs which is Progressive Electronic. Albums like Witchahzel and Kill the Wolf are sort of psych pop and rock meet folk. The Blue Elephant would be best for Psych here perhaps. Various others albums are on the psych pop side. Crossover or Psych... I've been waiting for one more album from him that really solidifies his interest in Prog.

Hackett gets my vote from this list. The bourgeoisie has surrounded the large cylindrical hulls of my pressurized vermifilter system.

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

And that's the album in the list that I most wish I had in my CD collection too. Thumbs Up
