Hi . The live album Independent Stateside from 2023 is missing in Jon Anderson’s discography. I am not sure how to contact the site to point this out….
Best wishes

You should be able to add that album yourself if you go to Jon Anderson's page.

^ Please don't add bootlegs in future.
Additionally it's badly added https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=86459" rel="nofollow - https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=86459 and already reported:

Don't worry about it, Francisco, I appreciate that you were willing to add it. These guys are used to spotting bootlegs for this site and it's not the first time that an album was added on Spotify that later got deleted due to it being a bootleg. I have added albums and then later edited in the details. Welcome to the forum.

Hi,
I agree that bootlegs should not be listed ... but then, I look at the number of "singles" that are just more attempts to promote the band for financial this and that ... and in the end, I don't see the difference between a fan group (bootlegger) or a record company ... many of which even created their own bootlegging activity to get attention to the game and artist ... and this is not exactly new in the story of things.
In this sense, I would like PA to find some way to separate the singles from the albums ... otherwise the different version of something is fine with me ... I'm not even sure that we should call, for example< the Grateful Dead's stuff "bootlegs" since you were able to plug in, for free, to their sound board to record it ... and with a smile ... not a complaint or legality!

Please in future collect all details first and only then add the album. Because according to PA policy non-collabs can't edit albums' details.
To add/correct details, a couple of special threads exist: - albums' info: https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=82726&PN=504" rel="nofollow - https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=82726&PN=504 - images (covers): https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=36282&PN=130" rel="nofollow - https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=36282&PN=130

^ I know this sometimes happens when an album is moved from one artist's page to another, but why so many albums should be missing their artwork I really haven't got a clue.
I found sources for the first six missing covers, but I'm not going to add the images at the moment in case this is just a temporary problem with the existing cover images.

Number seven in the list (https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=43667) is a bit of a mess at the moment: The track listing and credits on that page are for a split that Viscera/// did with Self Human Combustion called 'Self Human Combustion Vs. Viscera/// - Control Freak / Olocausto Farmaceutico' (see https://www.discogs.com/release/1538230-Self-Human-Combustion-Vs-Viscera-Control-Freak-Olocausto-Farmaceutico" rel="nofollow - - here , https://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/viscera/manifestacion-de-execrable-violencia%28demo%29" rel="nofollow - - here for details). None of those three sites have a particularly good-sized cover image - in fact it's the same 282x284 image on all three of them, so I guess that'll have to do. I can take care of all this if the E&O team wants me to, but I'd best wait for them to read through the details for themselves first, since they'll maybe just go ahead and do the job anyway.
Edit: There is a link in the admin panel which is supposed to reveal any 'Albums without cover', but nothing shows up when you click on it.

It's just a normal Bandcamp image, Eugene - like many of the others I posted - and the link is good, so it seems strange that you can't access it. Try accessing it from the Left Hand Records https://lefthandrecords.bandcamp.com/album/s-t" rel="nofollow - Bandcamp page for the album itself (they call the album just 'S/T' on there rather than 8-44.05.61.50, but it's exactly the same thing - which you can see by visiting the https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Gary_Suicidal_Kids_Commando/8-44.05.61.50/397132" rel="nofollow - )

In my opinion done now. | Yes, that's the album that was missing the cover art, Eugene, but its title isn't 'Manifestacion De Execrable Violencia' as we currently have it. 'Manifestacion De Execrable Violencia' was just a 5-track demo EP with a completely different set of songs on it, and it was released in 2004, not 2007. The proper full title of the album which was missing its cover image is 'Self Human Combustion Vs. Viscera/// - Control Freak / Olocausto Farmaceutico', as you can see on that Discogs page that you linked to.
The real 'Manifestacion De Execrable Violencia' release (a 5-track demo EP) isn't currently on our Viscera/// page at all, but I can add it if you want me to (or you could add it yourself - see https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Viscera---/Manifestaci%C3%B2n_de_Execrable_Violencia/83684" rel="nofollow - - here and https://www.discogs.com/release/1538562-Viscera-Manifestaci%C3%B2n-De-Execrable-Violencia" rel="nofollow -

^ Yes, your work on here is never going to be finished lol!
All missing covers done for now, but I'm still a bit concerned about https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=43667. The title we have for this album is still wrong, since it refers to a 5-track demo EP which is currently missing from the site. All the current details on the page https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=43667 belong to the split album with the title: 'Self Human Combustion Vs. Viscera/// - Control Freak / Olocausto Farmaceutico', so the title of album https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=43667 needs changing to that. See https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=133535&PID=6181182#6181182" rel="nofollow - this post just a bit further up the page for more details.
Edit: The https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=43667 split album is currently in the Singles/EPs/Fan Club/Promo section, since it currently has the (wrong) title of a demo EP. Once the title of the album has been corrected, does it need moving to wherever split albums belong (though I guess the album is really two EPs combined into a full length album, so maybe it's OK where it is)? I'm not sure myself where splits belong, having never dealt with that sort of album before.

^ Good point, David.I see I didn't finish what I wanted to correct in this split info. I guess because I've switched to other coverless releases.
I'm not sure where splits belong too. Formally they are V/A compilations, but who will find them in Various Artists?
After reading your post I think we should use info and the cover from http://https//www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/viscera/manifestacion-de-execrable-violencia%28demo%29" rel="nofollow - here , the year will be 2004, the title will stay the same (i.e. "Manifestacion De Execrable Violencia") and the album info will look as follows:
1. Antropophagous International Feast (3:05) 2. Oficina de Puercos (3:07) 3. Don't Feed the Animals (2:37) 4. Anthill Ignorance (1:17) 5. Emptiness or Deceit? (3:56)
Total Time 14:02
- Mike B. / vocals, guitars - G. C. / bass - Marco Ghizzoni / drums
Guest musician: - Matteo Bera / lead guitars
CD-R Self-released (April 1, 2004)
Digital album (2007)
Also available as a part of a split CD Self Human Combustion Vs. Viscera/// "Control Freak / Olocausto Farmaceutico" Hypershape Records - HPS001 (October 15, 2007, Italy, limited edition)
Agree?

^ Yes, I agree.
That's one perfectly good way of dealing with it, except for "Digital album (2007)" (the demo EP isn't available as a digital album - that line is just left over from the info for the split), and the last line: Also available as a part of a split CD Self Human Combustion Vs. Viscera/// "Control Freak / Olocausto Farmaceutico" Hypershape Records - HPS001 (October 15, 2007, Italy, limited edition), since the Viscera/// tracks on the 2007 split album are a completely different set to the ones on the demo EP from 2004.
It's a question of whether we want to mention the split anywhere on the Viscera/// page really. If we think that this split is definitely a significant part of Viscera///'s discography, then I think we still have to rename the https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=43667 album, where all the info relating to the split currently is, to the correct title and leave it on Viscera///'s page (though strictly speaking, Viscera///'s name isn't the first one mentioned in the title of the split, so I don't personally think it should be considered as a significant part of their discography, and as you suggest above, even though nobody will ever find it there, the split album could be simply re-added in V/A Compilations after https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=43667 has had the correct info for the demo EP substituted in its place).
So, yeah - do what you suggest above (except for including 'Digital album (2007)' and adding the line about the tracks also being available as a part of a split CD with Self Human Combustion), and then we can decide whether or not to re-add the split anywhere.

^ Oh, I didn't notice the split and demo EP contain different tracks.
If so I'd suggest to: 1. Rename the split, if it's already on PA. 2. Add demo EP. By the way, it's available as a digital album https://viscera3stripes.bandcamp.com/album/manifestaci-n-de-execrable-violencia-killing-by-the-sound-6way-split-segment" rel="nofollow - here .

^ Yes, I fully agree with that solution, and well done for finding the digital version of the tracks that were featured on the demo EP. I never bothered expanding the viscera3stripes.bandcamp.com 'more releases' link when I looked at the page on there for the split, so I missed that one!
Viscera/// was still known as Viscera (without the three stripes) when they released the demo EP in 2004, so perhaps the title should have "as Viscera" appended to it. I also think it will need a note at the bottom of the new page for the demo EP to explain that the digital version of those five tracks is subtitled "Killing By The Sound" 6way split segment, has a different cover to the original CDR version, and became available after the Russian label SoulFlesh Collector Records gathered the tracks together early in 2006 in order to put them into their "Killing By The Sound" 6-way split with Blood On Wedding Dress, Smersh, Devastathor, Scarce, and Engorged Vaginal Abyss (the cover of the digital version of the five Viscera demo EP tracks being the same as the one for this 6-way split release).
The 'Killing by the Sound' six-way split is already on the Viscera/// page https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=43668" rel="nofollow - here , so I'd suggest perhaps also adding cross-reference hyperlinks into the pages for each of the two releases to indicate the link between them.
Edit: It might be simpler to just replace the 'Killing by the Sound' split album that's already on the Viscera///page with the demo EP. If we include the note that I suggested regarding the source of the digital version of the EP, then that tells anyone viewing the page about the existence of the 6-way split, and I don't think it's really necessary to have the full listing of all the tracks that the other 5 bands contributed to the split on the Viscera/// page.
My gosh, this has been a complicated case to fully resolve...but we'll get there eventually!!!

^ Yes, too much monkey business. We spent hours sorting info of releases which nobody bothers at least to rate.
I'll try my best though.

^^ And finally (I hope): - one: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=90654" rel="nofollow - Manifestacion De Execrable Violencia (as Viscera) - two: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=43668" rel="nofollow - Killing by the Sound (split) - three: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=43667" rel="nofollow - Self Human Combustion Vs. Viscera///: Control Freak / Olocausto Farmaceutico - four: Added the line in the bio: "Formed in the year 2000, this act from Northern Italy actually began their career under the moniker of CHAOSPHERE until legal pressure resulted in a name-change to VISCERA/// (also known as VISCERA - without the three stripes)."
I think that's enough. I believe after their inclusion this band never attracted so much attention as within these two days.
