Hi Prog Archives folks!
Nikola and Chris from Agremorta here. We’ve just released our single “Adrocitas” off of our upcoming EP, Anomalia, releasing on March 15th, 2024. When it rolls around, we'd love and appreciate an opportunity to have some (or heck, even one) of your critical ear(s) for a review of our first single and/or EP release! We'll drop that request in it's proper forum around that time. :)
Our genre is a blend of alternative-, industrial-, and progressive-metal.
Anomalia is a concept EP that is both modern metal music and an imaginative short story. Our single “Adrocitas” is the climax of that story, focusing on the challenging themes of perspective and arrogance in a “just” war. It’s a personal reflection on power and the “road to hell paved with good intention”.
We've been really encouraged by some of the initial response to the single.
“A great prog sound that’s pretty immense…” - Dejected “Intricate songwriting but beautifully delivered and superb vocals…” - Thriller “The song perfectly balances between brutal and classic alternative sound. Great chorus and overall motif…” - Metal Power Gym

Agremorta is an international collaborative music project that came together quickly in July of 2023 and hit the ground running to produce Anomalia. We're primarily based in Macedonia and the USA, and collaborated with musical and visual artists from Argentina, India, and elsewhere.
Already found some hidden gems in these forums in the past week alone. Looking forward to lurking around and finding more great music and inspiring artists!
