This is the sixth poll that I have done covering albums included in the discographies of Prog Archives band/artist listings where I list one release per five year period (one for 1965 to 1969, one for 1975 to 1979 etc.) I also have done four (or was it five?) polls with the same concept for releases not included in the Prog Archives database.
Multiple votes allowed, please vote for up to three (or more if such limitations are too restrictive for you). And please vote no more than once per album. Additionally, feel free to vote even if you have very limited knowledge. Comments on the selections are appreciated even if not on the positive side, and feel free to mention your own favourites off any of the albums. I hope some will come up with their own lists and polls. I don't only like to share that which I like, I like to check out what others like.
Herbie Hancock "The Egg" (Empyrean Isles, 1960) David Bowie "Cygnet Committee" (David Bowie/Space Oddity, 1969) Van der Graaf Generator "A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers" (Pawn Hearts, 1971) The Residents "The Festival of Death" (Eskimo, 1979)* Eskaton "Dagon" (Ardeur, 1980) Dead Can Dance "The Host of Seraphim" (The Serpent's Egg, 1988) Björk "Play Dead" (Debut, 1993) Art Zoyd "Gates of Darkness" (Faust, 1996)* Godspeed You Black Emperor! "Storm" (Lift Yr. Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven!, 2000) Magma "Ëmëhntëhtt-Ré II" (Ëmëhntëhtt-Ré, 2009) Swans "A Piece of the Sky" (The Seer, 2014) King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard "Crumbling Castle" (Polygondwanaland, 2017) Squid "G.S.K." (Bright Green Field, 2021)
* Note that I have included both parts of The Residents and Art Zoyd pieces.
Here is a playlist of the choices for any that may be interested/ curious.
Thanks.

I greatly predicted that you would vote for that, Criswell.
I was cold on The Residents until I heard Eskimo, and it has remained my favourite.
I will vote for The Residents' "The Festival of Death", VdGG's "A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers" and GYBE!'s "Storm". And I will give a fourth vote to Eskaton's "Dagon" which always gets me going. And a fifth for Dead Can Dance's "The Host of Seraphim" because I get chills.

1. VdGG
2. Bowie
3. King Gizzard
Honorable mentions to:
Björk who I don't generally like but this was a good song.
Eskaton who had fun 80s cheesy horror film music thing going on.

Once more many candidates for votes. No way I cannot vote for Art Zoyd, and I add Bjork and Swans as they're currently without votes. But VDGG, Dead Can Dance, Squid, GSYBE, Eskaton... are voteworthy, too.
