I won an ebay auction, recently, of an original Japanese Toshiba EMI lp copy of Triumvirat's "Illusions On A Double Dimple" manufactured in 1974.
The mastering is masterful, and you can hear a pin drop when the music quiets, no tape hiss or anything behind the sound.
It came with the original insert with a bio in Japanese/Chinese and the album's lyrics in English and Japanese/Chinese
                   One of my prized possessions!

Thanks....I actually paid next to nothing for it, as no one was competing with me, so I just paid the starting bid of a mere 6 dollars (plus postage)

Nice grab. I actually missed out on an auction this week that had a ton of early NM Beatles LP's. Most went for less than $25.
Lessons learned. Ya snooze, Ya Loose.

I decided, when my budget allows, to get the other Triumvirat albums that were issued/mastered in Japan on lp. Also available, though pretty rare, are Spartacus, Old Loves Die Hard and Pompeii. Their debut album and A La Carte and Russian Roulette were never manufactured in Japan on lp. I have Spartacus made in Japan on lp on order.

Triumvirat had a groovy three album run there from 72 to 75 - their first three are excellent!  I haven't put them on in yonks, and as I always appreciate a good find (6 bucks - nice snag), I'm going to dig out Illusion from wherever it may be.....this may take a while.

Nice! Clap
I do see copies available on Discogs, although mainly from across the pond sellers.

Thanks; I bought this copy of Spartacus through Discogs, and I have Old Loves Die Hard and Pompeii lps made in Japan on order through Discogs, as well. All remastered by Toshiba EMI in Japan.

My final Japanese Triumvirat record arrived; 1976's Old Loves Die Hard, remastered by Toshiba EMI Japan and pressed in the fall of that year.

That really is a much better cover and thematically more coherent. I wish they had gone with it on the CD Remastered series?

This cover did appear on a rare, brief, Korean cd issue; all others were the European cover with the black lettering, yes.

I have the Si-Wan CD release of Triade's  La Storia di Sabazio.
You don't go after the cheap ones that's for sure.

That's true; and to be honest, I may have to put that on hold due to the big cost it incurs. Maybe later on down the road....
