Would love a chance for us to celebrate each other by posting and discussing each other's projects. Show us what you've got!
I'll wait a bit before posting mine!

I've got a project going called 'Atmos' I'm releasing my debut album relatively soon, kinda atmospheric, I've got demos out for the second album already, and I've written a third, and started writing a fourth album.
My plan (subject to change) the albums released will go as such
'Atmos 1' (or Stardust, I haven't decided yet) 'Springsong' 'Delicate Hush' (I have started recording this as well, it will be a 42 part suite where it stands right now, about 2hrs) 'Sundown'
Depending on how lazy I am, the albums will vary in quality, I apologize for the vocals, there's a major learning curve with that. You need to learn to explore your voice. My channel is in my signature.
Besides, shouldn't this be in 'Music and Musicians Exchange'?

Impressive! I listened to a few of your videos on youtube and was surprised by how varied the textures were.
I know exactly what you mean in regards to vocals, it's something I've also struggled with a lot in my solo works. I've been debating taking vocal lessons to see if I can get some guidance. Have you ever tried lessons?
And yes you're probably right! I didn't think about it but a maybe a mod could move us over there if they feel inclined.

Thank you! I honestly used loops and stiff for a lot of it, just to see what I think would be possible, for the next one, I'll actually play instruments.
I haven't taken lessons, I think I just need time to figure out how my voice works and it's highs and lows, it takes time

I've made a bunch of silly eclectic electric prog albums since 2017; I think this is the song that I'm the most proud of:
I have another one-person project that is kind of just weird soundscapes and a deconstruction of the above project that I think I might switch gears and turn into an electronic ambient thing. It's been dormant the last three years.

Sure! A lot of it is more on the electronic ambient side, i tend to use instrumentation and keys/modes that are more tranquil and hypnotic. I haven't done much with it in a couple years due to my attention mostly going to my band's endeavors but I've been sitting on material that I'd like to put together into a cohesive album at some point. http://open.spotify.com/artist/1W295TThu0znNSHnMFdri8?si=Fs8EtWXPTDO5Og8SOf-xrg" rel="nofollow - https://open.spotify.com/artist/1W295TThu0znNSHnMFdri8?si=Fs8EtWXPTDO5Og8SOf-xrg

Ill also post my primary band here. Would love to see what y'all think.
Interesting ! Rhythmically more progressive and European sounding. On the heavy side of things however more progressive oriented. Somewhat stylistically based on The Enid's vocals...but only to a degree and therefore not totally. European sounding and very good

I miss being in a band, but I'm not in Europe, Australia, or Asia, and for some reason, it's been impossible to find other musicians here in my hometown of the US, and tried to find online collaborators with no success. When I had $5, I found a woman who could sing a few seconds of vocables for me to paste on a song I wanted to find on here actually (except from the 70s)
My cousin from California came to visit me and showed me so many bad drummers who can't "get" Keith Moon, so I did a quick impromptu, adding it on my YouTube. Despite having over 4,000 subscribers, I haven't been able to find work, or even someone to back-and-forth songs with (using Audacity, for example). I spent the last few years writing brass and orchestral arrangements, but as a one-man band with no money, I realize it's over, but I might upload anything I find.
I'd love if I had a ton of money to have a studio where I can jam/record with other musicians.. I've always wanted to do something with this, adding guitar, piano, bass, etc...

Check out my new EP, released exclusively on Newgrounds!
Monology EP is constructed mainly of leftover ideas from the writing sessions for Lis Jonito and is composed of two half-epics. Musically, it's a love letter to 70's over the top keyboard driven symphonic prog and its revisited incarnation which bloomed in the 90's/2000's, mainly Refugee, Emerson Lake & Palmer and The Tangent.

Thanks :) Really enjoying this - lot's of great musicianship and fun sections. The main thing that holds it back for me is the dryness of the mix and sound of the drums. I think the drums in particular are too roomy/boxy for the genre. It's far from a bad mix though and I think the content of the songs still manages to shine through quite a bit in spite of that. It kind of gives a "live studio session" vibe. A lot of the guitar tones are very tasty. I can see me returning to it.
Edit: not sure what your influences are but picking up a lot of different classic flavours. Iron Maiden, Jethro Tull, Led Zep, Guns n Roses, etc.

Well, prog or not it's decent enough heavy rock and also is my main source of income in the last 10+ years
*even though totally similar bands like ELDER, BARONESS, SOMALI YACHT CLUB, YOB, SHIVA THE DESTRUCTOR, SAMSARA BLUES EXPERIMENT, ANCESTORS, TEMPLE OF THE SMOKE, SUNGRAZER and dozens of others, all have been added to PA

^^ just listened to Porcelain. I would put it somewhere under the prog umbrella. I love the vibe! Def get the Baroness connection. Mastodon too. Part of me wants a jazz piano section to come out of nowhere, haha. Maybe that's the "not prog enough" complaint inside me! Either way I like it and i'll check out more.

thanks Joel! Each SJ album got a couple of proggy tracks (except the debut which is doom metal as it gets), so I'll post two more:
(this one got almost 16 million YouTube views for some reason, people REALLY love it)
(this one is more SWANS-influenced than prog but hey, SWANS are also on PA hehe)

I'm still browsing your spotify and there's a lot I like across what i've sampled. Some highlights have been Wound, Here Come the Robots, and Molerats - Molerats is great. Quite different from the rest of what i've been hearing. I'll check out the other ones you've posted as well :)
Since this is the thread for it, here's my band's new album (should anyone feel so inclined): https://open.spotify.com/album/1ldRvkj0TwNQAn2hzw2YQK?si=uXkLV5NkQ0ejkmnlT52Ldw
"Moving Forward, Part 1" and "Archaeologist" are probably the most "prog" of the lot.

I love it! I thought a bit about whether I'd have liked some more variety over a whole album's length, but then I thought, for this kind of music the minimalist geometric approach may be just right. Not sure whether associations are welcome in this thread but this reminded me so much of Serge Blenner's wonderful and very unique (and very unknown) Fracture Interne album:

Thank you, but I gave up looking... Things used to be so much easier, and one could find a band in no time, but maybe more are playing everything themselves. I don't know, but after flake after flake, I realized I was just wasting my time... And my traveling days are over because of finances (been trying to sell my cymbals, etc).

'Atmos I' is my debut album. Kind of Experimental Eclectic Ambient. 5 songs. About 45 min long. It's to be released December 10th 2023. I added it to Awesome Prog (I am not a good judge of what's Prog and what's not). So if you want to check that out on Spotify and give me feedback, that'd be cool. I'm always looking to get better, so any feedback would be lovely!

3 tracks (all free), 'Welcome to Atmos' 'Let the Feast Begin' and 'Cabin'
Welcome to Atmos features me saying 'Welcome to Atmos' and then a short reverse guitar solo.
'Let the Feast Begin' is like the Donner Dinner Party on an old ferry boat. Again, some spoken words, first song I wrote and completed for this, half of it is instrumental.
"Cabin' is VERY similar to Let the Feast Begin, in the fact that it's half spoken word/poem and then an instrumental section, this one rocks a lot harder though.
I think the album has an overall feel to it, a darker ambience. About half of the instrumentation is samples, as this album is just seeing what works and what doesn't, and if it's bad, then it's bad, if it's good, then it can be better.
