Type in the name of a band and the site displays a discography, and you can click to hear a sample of the band's music. But the really fun part is that the page also displays a series of linked ballons with the names of similar bands, and you can click on the ballons to investigate the other bands. If you are familiar with the visual approach of the grokker search tool, it's a little bit like that. Good fun.

Try typing in Marillion, and notice that Genesis don't even appear on the page. OK, Steve Hackett and Tony Banks do - but notably Peter Gabriel does not!!!

Proves what I've been saying all along!

...mind you, Peter Hammill isn't there either...

That site is a neat idea - the first time I used Grokker I found Progarchives!

Pity the zoom doesn't really work - I hoped it would take you in to band members, discographies, biographies and such like. Apart from that, I could waste hours there...
