...obviously. But I have a lot of love for:

Sabbath, Zeppelin, Dead and The Carpenters as well.

Appearantly we all need to hear a huge amount of American semidull rock albums before we die. But we can die happily without hearing anything from say... France or Germany.

When we finally reach the post-1980's Rap/Hip-Hop era, I think I'd rather die than listen to any albums that celebrate crime and gangsterism. I'd sooner watch Goodfellas instead. Tongue

Feels weird having to choose between Bitches Brew and Deep Purple in Rock - they're so different.

Bitches Brew, CSNY, and Neil Young. After the Gold Rush doesn't have any votes yet but I rate it slightly lower than the two others. Ultimately I give an honest vote to Bitches Brew even though I love Deja Vu.

I somehow guessed you'd be voting for Bitches Brew, but maybe it's just Deja Vu, although with Part 2 already in view, I've guessed who you're voting for in that poll too. Smile

But how come, since you're fond of much Jazz-Rock/Fusion?

Bitches Brew is too much of an improvisational footloose and fancy-free witches brew for my liking, which leaves me in a stew. When it comes to jazz, In a Silent Way is far preferable in my view, even if it sometimes leaves me feeling Kind of Blue. Smile

Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs is a remarkable double album.
