Despite my username being a Alan Parsons Project album, they are not my favorite prog band. I don't really have a favorite, but I am happy to be here. I enjoy discovering new bands which is what brought me here.

Welcome @VC07, tell us more. Bands you know and like and those you don't know or like.
What's your exposure to the big six?

Big six, King Crimson introduced me to prog and I love them, I like ELP but they aren't my favorite, early Yes is glorious, I like Jethro Tull, I really dig Genesis with Peter Gabriel and I haven't heard much of Pink Floyd. Some of my favorite prog bands would be Man, UK basically anything with John Wetton, Crack The Sky are the makers of my favorite records in my collection, FM is my favorite Canadian prog band followed by Saga. Supertramp also introduced me to prog.

Welcome, and happy exploring! There's a lot of bad prog, but fortunately for us also a lot of excellent prog around. Tongue Wink
