What do you think of the ongoing dispute between Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan?

The two basketball players were friends in the early days. Then something happened. Jordan was hurt when his Bulls defeated the Pistons and the Pistons, led by Laimbeer, walked off the court without shaking his hand.

Then there was the Dream team. Isiah Thomas, captain of the Bad Boys in those years managed to make himself hated not only by Jordan but also by Larry Bird and lost his friendship with Magic Johnson, and thus was excluded from the Dream Team.

Recently, Thomas and Johnson made peace in front of the cameras. But Jordan still hates him, he said he hates him even during the TV series The Last Dance, 30 years later! Isiah wants an apology.

And they continue to fight. Magic Johnson is friends with both of them now and says life is short, they should make up.... But when you get excluded from the Dream Team mainly because of Jordan, who after 30 years says he hates you, when you did nothing to him.... what the hell should Isiah thomas still do?

I mean, I'm with Isiah. Jordan doesn't know how to win: if you win, you don't waste time hating the loser just because he doesn't shake your hand, and you don't go on talking against him for 30 years (after all, you went with the Dream Team, not him).

In my opinion Isiah Thomas paid far too dearly for having had Bill Laimbeer as a friend, who managed to make everyone hate the Pistons.

Who do you prefer, Isiah or Michael? Who is right between the two guys?

I replied yesterday but it was lost due to the service maintenance.

Great players, but don't come across well as people. Isiah has

Been known to be a phony and disliked by other players. There are rumors that he lead the freeze out of Jordan during the All-Star Game of Jordan's rookie year and being from Chicago, disliked how Jordan was the face of Chicago basketball. So, whatever animosity goes back before the walk off in the 91 playoffs. That said, Jordan should let it go. There's no point holding whatever grudge. Prefer neither.

Funny. I voted that I can't stand either of them yesterday. Vote is gone, but PA says I already voted so can't put in my vote.

Hi,

I prefer the Magic/Bird thing to this one ... in one game in LA, Bird came down with the ball and said" watch this Magic!" and cranked a three (not sure they had them then!) ... and three drives later Magic comes down and says "watch this Larry" ... and canned another long shot ... later, Bird made a behind the back pass for a basket and Magic made a pass under his leg and knee ... always with the same fun line ... on that night, it didn't matter who won or lost ... the seeing of that fun and show was enough to hold you for a lifetime of games!

Isiah Thomas. I saw the games live, and they're on YouTube.

Having to beat the Celtics, Bulls, and Lakers... Isiah's teams beat them more than they beat his. Phantom Foul. Celtics walk off the floor, during a FT, with AD on the foul line - nothing. White media goes nuts not over Rodman's comments, but for Isiah agreeing with him. "Snowflake" press conference.

Even Terry Foster said (on the 30 for 30) that Isiah organized that overblown walk-out. It was Laimbeer, but again, Isiah Thomas being a true leader, would never throw his teammate under the bus. For 30 years.

I wonder how many players would be up all night thinking up "The Jordan Rules", calling assistant coaches, teammates. But, people know which side of the bread is buttered, so even 18-yr olds who never watched basketball just repeat bullsh*t. Or 48-yr olds who want access, to keep their job, be a "source", and "authority"

About the freeze out of Jordan during his first All-Star Game. I watched the game many times and I saw nothing strange from Isiah.
