Im trying to keep a look out for Asia CD job lots now on Ebay, but im not really seeing any :-(
Asia are a band i really like (saw them live in Bournemouth in 2008, and they were awesome) and i wouldent mind all their albums either. The albums by them ive noticed that are the most priciest to get hold of are the John Payne era ones. All the John Wetton era ones your be able to get for under a tenner each (provided you buy the 80s albums on 2nd hand vinyl from a local shop or carboot sale).
The John Payne era for a start was through out the entireity of the 90s, so getting them on vinyl is not an option, inless your a rich person, and i think most of the CD releases never got more than 1 pressing, hence their expensive price there aswell. I do have two 00's John Payne albums already, Aura and Silent Nation, you wont get them on CD now for under £20 each. I bought Aura back in the late 00s i think 2nd hand, and i paid between £8 to £10 for it, but like i said, you wont get it that cheap now. I bought Silent Nation brand new in 2004 when it was released, so would have paid less than £12 for it, but again, you wont get it that cheap now.

Most of those are live CD's or compilations, you can usually get comp CD's at a reasonable price, i didnt pay too much for Anthology, Best of Asia or Archivia.
No bundle offers there, but £11 for any John Payne album is fair going. I might be waiting for a long time before anybody sells any John Payne era CD bundles for a good price :-(

In a weeks time i will have all the Wetton era albums bar 1.
Do you haven Anthology?, that ones interesting. Its a comp album, but you get John Payne singing old songs like Heat of The Moment and Go ect. I also love the songs Military Man and Two Sides of The Moon.

You can try Discogs and find a seller willing to bundle for you. Or just buy them individually.

I now own every John Wetton fronted album. In the background at the top you can notice the front cover of the debut album, which i only own on vinyl. Ok, now its time to get the John Payne fronted albums (which wont be cheap or reasonably priced), i have 2 so far.

^My original ASIA - ASIA LP is mint condition, signed by all band members on their pictures on the sleeve, from their first concert of their first tour in London Ont. and I kept the original handout program as well. A nice little keepsake.

Thats pretty cool, mines only a 2nd hand copy bought from my local 2nd hand record shop from 2 years ago. I am glad i got to see Asia perform as the original line up back in 2008 at the Bournemouth Pavilion cause they rocked. The only disappointment was that Geoff did not perform a keyboard solo, cause im sure he would have sounded amazing. But Carl and Steve did perform guitar and drum solo's.

So here's a little story for ya. I was a sound engineer at the time and we had a gig way north in Ontario, Blind River coming up. I decided to stayed on the Saturday night to see the concert instead of driving up on the Saturday morning. I went to the venue in the afternoon (Alumni Hall at Western University) to see if I could get permission to take my camera into the concert. I had brought the LP inner sleeve in case an opportunity for signatures presented it self. When I got there I spoke to a guy on the tour bus who said the tour manager was inside the venue. So I wandered in an open door and sat down waiting to see if i could find him. A few minutes later in walks Geoff Downs, then Carl Palmer and John Wetton, finally in comes Steve Howe, getting ready for a sound check. Eventually I wandered up to the stage to ask for autographs. Everyone was very friendly ...except for Steve. He seemed a little stand off'ish. So as i was talking to Carl and telling him about the band I worked with (a keyboard and drum duo) he asks me about the tuning of his drums, so I offer my advice. Just a little lower tuning on the second tom. Then when I speak to Geoff and tell him about my job he gets really excited and says, "You should come and see my Fairlight" grabs my hand and hauls me up on stage to his keyboard riser and begins to show my the gear. I'm absolutely gob smacked at this point. Later after I was back sitting in the seats Carl comes over and sits down a row ahead of me. I show him some shots from ELP and the orchestra at Cobo hall in Detroit that I took and he's very impressed. Later that night I realize the seat he was sitting in was the seat I had a ticket for.
The only downside to the whole event was the soundman pushed the PA way too hard for the venue and sound was almost deafening at times. the hall had beautiful acoustics with remote movable wall panels so volume shouldn't have been an issue. Still, it was a great concert even if I did come away with ringing ears and barely made it to my gig in time.
A night to remember.

Thanks for the info, I also want to know it and I am glad I found my answer over here. The 90s era of the band certainly poses some difficulties in finding vinyl, and it's true that those CD releases can be quite expensive due to limited pressings. When I am struggling with financial hurdles, my relief soared when I stumbled upon the http://https://apps.apple.com/us/app/payday-advance-borrow-money/id1542349316" rel="nofollow - paycheck loan app on my trusty iPhone. This app proved to be a seamless lifeline. Within mere minutes, I effortlessly submitted my payday advance loan request. I was amazed at how quickly my loan got approved, and the money was in my account the next day. I can't express how thankful I am for this fast and straightforward solution. This payday loan app is a real lifesaver for people who need money quickly.

Sorry for bumping this 3 month old thread here, but what with Christmas just passing, i decided to get 2 more Asia albums from the John Payne era, Aqua and Aria. So this now means that the only 2 studio albums that i dont have, are Rare and Arena. Rare i aint that bothered about, as all that album is is just nothing but short instrumental songs for a documentry soundtrack. And Arena is too expensive at the moment, cheapest i could get it as of writing this is £15 ($19.07, 17.45 euros). But here is my now Asia collection

For one moment there, I thought you were looking for a job in Asda. I should've gone to Specsavers.

Out of the 2 albums, Aria impressed me more. Military Man is one of my favourite Asia tracks of all time.

I had a copy of Silent Nation but gave it to my boss who was well into the John Payne era of Asia. Still have my job so that's something!
The Song 'Love Under Fire' was also included on the Greg Lake/Geoff Downes project Ride The Tiger
The Asia version o Love Under Fire is much better.
Two ELP songs on that album. I can't believe the Lake/Downes version o Street War is worse than the one from ITHS.
I haven't heard the Asia version, I do like all the comeback albums inc even Omega and saw Asia at a packed out Shepherds Bush Empire back when they played the whole debut album.
Re Lake, Money Talks was also reworked for Black Moon and became Paper Blood. Black Moon in total featured 4 tracks that were originally solo offerings (2 Lake and 2 Emerson).
Paper Blood (Money Talks)
Affairs Of The Heart
Changing States (Another Frontier)
Romeo & Juliet (Montagues and Capulets)
I haven't listened to ITHS for a long time except for the track Hand Of Truth which, despite the very deserved reputation of the album being terrible, is actually a decent track.

I dislike 90s ELP, does nothing or me. I used to like Black Moon, but last time I listened to it, I found it a chore to go through.
I also like the Payne era albums more than the come back albums.

Black Moon hasn't aged well although I loved it when it came out. One of the big issues with it is Palmer's drumming which had already become a bit ploddy and a long way from the force of nature he was on early ELP records. The songs were good and actually the only ELP album with no out and out weak tracks barring their debut.

Black Moon sounds like BSS when you play 3's album right before it.
