Hallelujah! Just what we needed! An overweight Elvis impersonator performing Led Zeppelin classics in a Reggae style. Their time is gonna come! Tongue

The real thing! Elvis is in the building! Clap

Robert Plant Loves Dread Zeppelin too, especially Heartbreaker and Black Dog. Big smile

It may be a Heartbreaker for Led Zeppelin fans to see an overweight Elvis impersonator performing their classic songs in a Reggae style, but Robert Plant has a Whole Lotta Love for Dread Zeppelin, so they must be good. Smile

I saw Dread Zeppelin at Newcastle Mayfair Ballroom (now defunct) back in 1990.

They were (ahem) interesting! LOL

One song is kinda fun. But the joke gets really old really fast.

It appears I'm the only one here who likes Dread Zeppelin. If so, that's a real Heartbreaker. Confused

Lmao, I can't believe someone thought that was a good enough concept to turn into an actual project.

I enjoy them. I have three albums and seen them play a couple of times live though 30 years ago. These guys were really good musicians. Even with the disco stuff when they had (temporarily) replaced Tortelvis with Garry B.I.B.B.

^ I was beginning to think I was the only one here who liked Dread Zeppelin, which would've put me in a Black Dog mood. Wink

Are Dread Zeppelin one of those bands who are so bad that they're good? No, don't answer that. Tongue

Hi,

I think I'll stick with Tiny Tim! At least he didn't try to frame or copy anyone else!

The rest of these ... just not enjoyable in my book, and the same (for me) goes for many of the bands that are doing some of the name stuff. Take away the "name" and no one would given them an ear! And Elvis impersonators ... goodness gracious ... nightmare on the Vegas Strip! Gonzo must be alive somewhere!

-------------
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
