Hi all. It is my first contribution on this site, though I consult it for a long time. I'm looking for a band or an album, in the same spirit as Heldon - Bolero, an electro band or musician, with prog influences, repetitive, hypnotic music, with guitar or sax solos... Nothing found by searching on the site, most of the electro prog groups offered are often in an "ambient" spirit, but I'm looking for musicians who play energetic music... I'm waiting for your recommendations, happy holidays!

I take it you're familiar with this?
Not a 21 min. piece mind you, but starts to kick around the 6 min. mark.

Thank you for supporting independently produced music

@JD Thank you. I'm not necessarily looking for something directly related to the bolero but electronic music in general

In fact, I'm not necessarily looking for music labeled "prog", I'm looking for "good" electro/techno/house music with prog influences, I don't know if that exists!

Also these these may work for you. They feature most (but not all) of your requirements - but essentially they're all electronic but not ambient. Not mentioned by you, but they all have driving percussion/beat in most of their music.

Umberto - From The Grave & Prophesy of the Black Widow

Kosmischer Laufer: (The Secret Cosmic Music Of The East German Olympic Program 1972-83) Volume One to Volume Four

Sensation's Fix: Portable Madness (& Fragments of Light)

And this album (Ektakrom Killer is actually produced by Richard Pinhas under the psuedonym Moogi-Le-Moog:)

If you're seeking electro/techno/house music, with prog influences, it sounds like you're looking for some of the more modern, younger-generation (than me!) music. If so, maybe try Shpongle:

or Entheogenic:

or Colorstar:

or Korai Orom:

I can recommend more bands or specific albums if any of these interest you.

If it's hypnotic progish music you're looking for, try 'Bourée' from Jon Lord's album Sarabande (1976)... or indeed give the whole album a listen.
