While I'm taking a break from polling, it seems like a good time to consolidate by listing the 51 amazing "new" artists I've discovered from my recent series of Post-1970's prog polls, leaving me just one card short of a full deck, so to speak, although people have been saying that about me for a long time.

I’ve probably heard only about half of that list, but of those I have listened to, three stand out (for me) above the rest. Carrying on with your alphabetical order, they are Cast, Kingston Wall, and The Tea Party. There’s more that’s not really my cup of tea than is, but there are some very enjoyable bands in this list, for sure.
The Tea Party is the only band on this list that I’ve known for many years - since approximately 1994 (ie somewhere between the release of Splendor Solis and Edges of Twilight). Such a great band, whose every release I’ve enjoyed. I also like the various Jeff Martin “solo” ventures that were released in The Tea Party’s hiatus - and particularly the live albums, which featured a mix of his and the band’s material.

Asia Minor
Bacamarte

I find it also to be very good that so many various countries are represented.

If you keep on, it might happen that I'll do something about it. But Besides Secret Oyster, I've already mentioned to you two Prog bands, I find interesting:
Burnin' Red Ivanhoe
Ache

I adore Clearlight, especially for Clearlight Symphony, and I also like Forever Blowing Bubbles very much (I have called this my favourite in the Symph Prog category here). Mr. Sirius would probably come in at number two for me. And I like Solaris and Bacamarte. I haven't listened to Asia Minor in many years, I should play Between Flesh and Divine again, an album which I have.
All of those I discovered within the past year of when I joined PA, as I went through a phase of very heavily listening to new albums. Most of the bands I have discovered over the last year have not been in PA. I have discovered lots more albums by some I had heard music of before (in particular Swans).
One band now in PA (I suggested it) that I discovered and really liked over this last year is Ciśnienie (in Post Rock). You devour a lot more new-to-you music than I do, Paul. I love to re-play albums, often have current fixations, and balance that with listening to non-music things (particularly police depositions right now).

Lost of great stuff there. If I had to pick out some favorites, they would be Citizen Cain, Discipline, Echolyn, Magellan, and Solaris.

Without counting, I suspect I own releases from about a dozen bands in your list. I generally wouldn’t say any particular genre dos nor appeal to me, as it would be very improbable (if not impossible) for me to not be able to find something to like in any genre.
Of the PA genres, Neo is possibly one of those that I’m less likely to find something I like - but there are plenty of bands and albums I love from that genre.
Symphonic is far more likely to float my boat, but not so much when it is a modern band that goes the retro route without originality and/or flair. Retro, like neo tends to have fewer rewards for me, but still provides some absolute gems that I adore.
If this were a multiple vote poll, I could happily vote for many of the bands here, and those I’m not familiar with, I will put on my “to listen to” list, simply because I do like much of what I do know on this list.

I made a special effort this time to actually listen to all of the albums I feature in my polls, which turned out to be a great way of discovering new music. My Renaissance year for prog would definitely be 2010, when I first went online. Before then, the only Symphonic Prog band I could name were Renaissance, but now, I could easily name a hundred, and the list keeps on growing.

Actually, "Prog proper" hasn't been a popular genre in DK in the post-70's, and yes, that's a pity.

Even an avowed Avanthead like me owns albums by 7 of those. The most highly rated would be Echolyn & Discipline. I also have Clearlight, Tea Party, Asturias, Bacamarte, & White Willow.
I dread to think how many I have discovered from that era since joining PA in '07, its a lot.

I purchased the complete Enchant box set of 10 albums not that long ago. Very impressed with the vocals and sheer tightness of the playing which is amongst the best I've ever heard. Good band but the songs tend to melt into each other a bit.
Most bands from this era that I like I've known about for a long time. I remember shaking Par Lindh's hand at the 1995 ELP convention in Birmingham UK. Hearing that debut album was a revelation to my ears. Proper classic prog but not a copy in any sense whatever. Still terribly underrated and not discussed enough for my liking.
