For the #1 spot I'm including an album by an artist who was rejected for inclusion in the archives (which I won't fault the staff for necessarily since her later output is much more poppy) but which I nonetheless want to mention because it's in my opinion one of the best progressive albums of the decade, combining majestic folk prog with dreamy electronic pop under a unifying esoteric sci-fi/fantasy concept. 1. http://danileepearce.bandcamp.com/album/petrichor" rel="nofollow - Dani Lee Pearce - Petrichor 2.
