Someone had a 90's movie poll recently so I thought we could list or top ten 90's movies.
 Here's Mine:
  • Pulp Fiction
  • Silence of the Lambs
  • Fight Club
  • Schindler's List
  • Seven
  • The Usual Suspects
  • Braveheart
  • The Fisher King
  • 12 Monkeys
  • Sling Blade

^ It was Matthew (username SuperMetro) who made the poll you are thinking of methinks.

Ten of my faves would be (only one per director, but mentioned a trilogy) and in Spinal Tap fashion I went to eleven and then in my fashion went one higher, and then decided on a baker's dozen. I watched so, so many films in the 90s. My son once asked me when small why we are so obsessed with ten, I said it's because we have ten fingers and ten toes which makes it easier to count... It has become the convention.

After Life
The City of Lost Children
Eat Drink Man Woman
Europa, Europa
Event Horizon
Farewell My Concubine
Jamón Jamón
Naked
Raise the Red Lantern
Red Firecracker, Green Firecracker
Three Colours Trilogy (if only one counts, then White as I like the dark comedy aspect)
Truly Madly Deeply
Zentropa (aka Europa)

There are so many more that I would like to list but these are the first to spring to mind, and with some of my favourite directors, I would like to list many. These lists can be fun, but it's often hard I find to be satisfied with them or to get much discussion out of them, but like many others, I do like to make lists and enjoy the thought process that goes into them. Mine was not given much thought.

^ Wow, I really gotta get out more. The only movie on your list I have seen is Event Horizon
(Good horror/ Sci-Fi choice)  I should check out some of the others you listed.

In the 90s I was most into art house world cinema, and pretty off-beat films, so it's not a very mainstream or Hollywood list (I was really big on Chinese, Japanese, French and Spanish cinema. That said, I wish I had included more American ones like Being John Malkovich (loved it) and The Truman Show, and the Italian Life is Beautiful. I watched so many moves back then and a lot I saw in the cinema. I don't watch nearly so many films now or get out to the cinema much at all. The 90s was my favourite decade in terms of my life.
