Arriving Somewhere, But Not Here, was a recent Steven Wilson albums poll, and so, in a Lightbulb Sun moment, I thought why not have a Top 7 albums poll of Porcupine Tree Recordings too, as they've been In Absentia from the polls for a good long while now. I can Signify that I'll be allocating points to your listings in the usual manner (as shown below). Obviously, I'm hoping my favourite Porcupine Tree compilation Voyage 34: The Complete Trip will do well in the poll, but realistically, I know that's just a Stupid Dream and it'll more than likely pale into Insignificance against the better-known studio albums.  1st album: 12 points 2nd album: 8 points 3rd album: 6 points 4th album: 4 points 5th album: 3 points 6th album: 2 points 7th album: 1 point Here's my PT Top 7 to kick things off with:- 1. I have some pretty cool double cd editions. Every studio album except In Absentia and Fear Of A Blank Planet. My daughter who is a PT fan was getting rid of all her cds a few months back and i got Lightbulb Sun still in it's package(maybe not a big fan after all) a double with the second a dvd 5.1. My edition is a double as well but just bonus tracks on the second like most of them. Not sure if anyone picked Recordings I was considering it. So here's my strategic list since it's only seven. In Absentia Deadwing Fear Of A Blank Planet Stars Die- The Delerium Years Coma Divine Stupid Dream Lightbulb Sun Sorry but I can talk about this stuff but I got a second Stars Die Delerium years from my daughter but completely different packaging and cover art is the same but on hers everything is closer. Funny thing: This poll has led me to realize that I don't really love any single PT album in its entirety: there are songs on each album that I love, but there are songs that leave me cold and disinterested. I can't really name an album that I like in it's entirety! Lightbulb Sun has always been a personal favourite of mine. Can't say that it's better than the other top three, just that I happen to love this album.

Lightbulb Sun is my favourite studio album too, even though it's not in my Top 7 list of Porcupine Tree albums.
