Is there a song or a fragment of a song that has made you cry just for the excitement and emotion it produces in you?.

I donīt mean those songs that make you cry because they remind you of something either very sad or very good.  But those songs that donīt remind you of anything, still they make you cry just for the feeling in the song, for the playing and the passion of the musicians.

I personally cry every single time I listen and pay attention to the instrumental in "Firth of fifth" (Studio version). Those moments right in the minute 6:26, 6:50 and 7:38 ĄĄ, My god, they make me shiver. They  really make me loose control of my eyes.

With the same intensity, "In your eyes" by Peter Gabriel (Live version). This one has many great moments. Whenever I listen to it I just canīt stop thinking the whole band and additional vocalists are deeply integrated and full of joy for participating in this song. They seem to be living the happiest moment of their life. Enjoying the audience and each other.

These songs reflect a true passion from every member in the band. Itīs not that the instruments are played in an impressive way. Itīs the tones, the "implicit energy" in them. Itīs just that feeling that the musicians are putting their heart out for you, bringing everything they have to offer.

So, what about you?

the last part of starless, where the theme from the beginning of the song is coming back, pure beauty

The 2nd time or so I listened to the Dire Straits 'Tunnel of Love', near the end. The last two lines of 'and girl it looked so pretty to me' etc.

Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" near the end, the vocals on "Echoes" and I get a huge adrenaline kick from their drummer's line "One of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces" on Meddle's "One of These Days".
