The whole album is just perfect! Another masterpiece by Camel.

Yeah, most of their albums are great

it's a shame, though, not many people know the "Harbour of tears" album... I think it's just fantastic!!!

Harbour of Tears is a great album - very subtle and well orchestrated. I'd go as far as to say that the orchestration is better than on "The Snow Goose". The style's a bit like "Stationary Traveller" - but several steps beyond. Latimer's solos on "Harbour..." are astonishing - what that man does with one note could teach the "virtuosos" a thing or two

I think that "Harbour of Tears" is a good album (their second best since Bardens left -being the first one "Nude"). However, I'd rather listen to anything they did when Bardens was in the band. The rest is quite boring IMHO.

Depends what you're looking for, of course.

I find "Nude" quite dull - and everything after it up to "Stationary Traveller", which has some stellar moments of Andy's one-note wonders. On the Pressure Points live album there's even a bit of Bardens to go with the "S/T" and "Snow Goose" material. It's generally fantastic and well worth the investment IMO, despite the nosedive in the middle couple of numbers ("Cloak and Dagger Man ).

The interplay between Bardens and Latimer was priceless, of course, and was a great loss to the band when he left. Bardens' solo material really wasn't up to snuff without Latimer to play off.

What a superb album ... for me, Nimrodel is the brightest of its jewels ...

The song by which Peter Bardens' immortality is sealed!

Especially the three last song are simply amazing !! Supertwister is a nice one, but Freefall is just average...not bad, but not as good as camel can be ! So Lady fantasy or nimrodel.......I listen more often to Nimrodel, with its space atmosphere, but I use to say that Lady fantasy is my favorite...but the two are fantastic.

Supertwister!!! better by far than the over rated "Lady Fantasy" (I don´t know what you find in that common and predictable tune, guys!) nice flute, tasteful rhodes, strong rhythm section... The other i like a lot is "Nimrodel", but unless that boring slide-guitarish final... Till then, that song is almost perfect... However, my favourite Camel albums are "The Snow Goose" and "Moonmadness"

The best underrated progband of the 70s?: HATFIELD AND THE NORTH!!!!

I've clicked Lady Fantasy but it was a very hard choice. In my opinion, all songs are great in that album..

Freefall, short, crisp and very very sweet, i find it the most sophisticated and tireless of them all.

For a very long time, it was the "Lady Fantasy" suite, but more recently, I found the other suite "Nimrodel" much more interesting and very emotional, just perfect, from this excellent album, the first I heard from Camel.

I like all. I really like 4. I love 1.

Really like: Earthrise, Nimrodel, Lady Fantasy and Freefall.

I love Lady Fantasy, that IMO is the The Knife of Genesis.

Lady Fantasy wipes all competition. It doesn't have the 'Wizard of them all/Came back from his fall' line, and simply out-explodes and outlengths any other cut.

Since I can not give five votes here, Nimrodel gets it. All songs have their qualities, though. Nimrodel is for me the best out of all five good ones here. Freefall and Lady Fantasy share the second position, by the way Smile

I love this whole album, but Supertwister is absolutely amazing.   In fact if you took Freefall and made it the last track instead of the first one, then I'd say that they were ranked in order of quality.
