Hey everyone!! I'm a long-time fan of this site but I only just started posting. I'm a solo artist who's been writing my own prog rock for a few years now. It started as just instrumentals but I've since moved on to vocals. My big influences are Yes, Genesis, Rush, Moon Safari, IQ, Pendragon, Frost*, Spock's Beard, Starcastle, and other similar bands. The name Star Cloister comes from a chapter from the fantasy novel The Neverending Story, a long-time favorite of mine. My songs typically tell stories (I'm currently working on an album where every song tells stories from books, films, and so on), or they're about things like childhood and imagination. I hope to get some more followers.
