Many great ones that year...you could simply pick the top ten here at PA.... I have all those you named (except for Dom and Gila)....love the Spring and Cressida....but there were better lp's around then. I know eight of the albums on your list just from the album name alone. As for the other two albums, I Can take a guess that Tago Mago is by a well-known Krautrock band, but The Inner Mounting Flame had me completely stumped, until Google came to the rescue.

what's amazing was I remember reading an article from way back in 1971 and 1972 lamenting how little good new music there was! Sometimes it takes a few years of hindsight to assess the music of a time. Or maybe the writer was just an idiot?
