I was looking through the archives and noticed that Steve Hillage was
moved to the Jazz Rock/Fusion sub-genre. I don't think that that
classification suits his music well at all. If anyone could give
me an explanation for the change, it would be greatly appreciated.

He'd better fit under "Psychedelic", although there are some jazz-rock influences in his work.

Space Rock..the 'master' before the likes of Ozric tentacles cloned his sound ( did a pretty good job too). Steve Hillage definitely fits ion jazz-rock fusion...although his music is kinda psychedelic, the free-jazz elements are more solid... ------------- I'm a Man-Owl-Fish. Creator-Observer-Muse. |
