Very hard, I could easily vote for Can, ADII, PF, and VDGG here, with KC, Soft Machine, Beefheart and Zappa not far behind. On the mood of the day I give my vote to Amon Düül II.

A tricky choice, but I'll go with King Crimson for having the best debut album in the poll, although "best" is entirely subjective.

I’m not a fan of ELP to be honest, but I still did check ELP using two sources and found no album released in 1969 (all of my choices are subsequent studio albums, one released in 1969 and one in 1970. I see the first two ELP albums as 1970 and 1971, but maybe that’s wrong.

I decided to make this a Prog poll, and I don’t consider those particular albums to be really closely related to Prog even if the band is in Prog Related. Post IV is where Zepp gets more Prog for me. Out of curiosity, do you have a Prog choice (even if it is not in the poll, which I kept limited to a dozen on purpose)?

Stand Up & Benefit. Consistently good over both albums. King Crimson had a brilliant first album, but the 2nd was mediocre in comparison.

Ow... Between King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Soft Machine and VdGG... Well, maybe the last are indeed the last of these four for me... I guess it will be these two of Pink Floyd for me above the others. Now.

I don't know if I can vote Greg, I mean the two that stand far above the rest for me are CAN and AMON DUUL II. So close between those two. I may be back.

I voted for Yes only because they didn't repeat their debut release. TAAW was a real attempt at progression. Okay so Genesis also did that but the debut is virtually unlistenable while the Yes debut is very pleasant if not earth shattering.

^ Yep, have and love those albums. Must have made my list, but then decided to limit it to certain big names and 12 for this round. I had quite a long master list as I recall.

I would have easily given it to EL&P if the order of release for their first two albums was 1969 and 1970.
