As above.. but with a slight caveat regarding 'Yours is no disgrace' which although its not the 'best' track on te lp, its the one which i have fondest thoughts and memories (as its the first Yes track i ever heard at about 8 or 9!)

Yours is no disgrace
Perpetual Change
Clap
I've seen all good people
Starship Trooper (unpopular opinion, but I never understood why this one was so popular)
A Venture

^In my opinion it's because it has a really great melody in the first section, a cool acoustic guitar transition and a very fine outro(wurm).

1 Yours Is No Disgrace (always preferred Kaye over Wakeman on this track)
2 Perpetual Change
3 Starship Trooper
4 A Venture
5 I've Seen all good people

6 Benny the Clap

1. Yours Is No Disgrace
1. Starship Trooper
3. Clap
4. I've Seen All Good People
5. A Venture          (I like the mood about it, and the jazzy drumming; a bit short maybe..)
6. Perpetual Change     (more of a rocker, slow and disperse but very "Yes-identifiable" and welcome)

Yours..  and Starship Trooper
Two monsters really. I slightly like Yours.. better and/or listen more often.

Yeah.. and IMO beautiful and unique guitar arpeggios and I'd say transitions in general :)

Clap
Is special for me. Spent many hours rewinding the tape to try to play it on the guitar. When my friend, the one that lent me his brother's cassettes and CDs, told me it was only one guitar I didn't believe him.

Also, I stumbled upon an issue with YouTube Music.. 🧐 on track 9 of 'Classic Yes' it appears the one from 'Yes Album' instead of the original 'Classic Yes' live version  Angry  (that I grew accustomed with and maybe like more). Here's the live version: Smile

Benny the Clap, That's funny! LOLClap

I never actually minded the song, don't love it , don't hate it but I get that it is not popular with many Yes fans.

Same for me, although I'd tempted to make 1 and 2 equal first.

I've Seen All Good People come and go here at ProgArchives during this strange time of Perpetual Change, and Yours is No Disgrace if you Venture to say you prefer Sarah Brightman's Starship Trooper to the Yes version, as I do, although I realise that bizarre assertion will probably be met by a slow hand Clap amongst prog aficionados.  Smile

I've already done it with Genesis' Trick of the Tail album. Wink If I see a bunch of related songs or album titles, then I just can't resist stringing them together in My Own Special Way into a sentence or story. Smile

Do you prefer Abba's super trooper to starship trooper also? Tongue

Oh wait, that's super trouper. Ok, close enough. Wink

I used to fantasise about going out on a date with the blonde one from ABBA, but knowing my luck, it'd probably turn out to be the blonde one with the beard. Embarrassed Confused Cry

^Well, if it makes you feel any better I never thought either of them were really that attractive. Not that I would kick them out of the room or anything though.

Starship Trooper. And that's the only one I really like from that album, even though there's nothing particularly bad either.

And one of the best and most interesting guitar performances that Howe did with Yes.

No need to rank them, they're all on the same level.
