Vote your favorite songs credited to a Queen member (other than Freddie). You are invited to share your opinion, too.

I was tempted to choose either "Sail Away Sweet Sister" or "Sheer Heart Attack", but I must go with "All Dead, All Dead", as it always reminds me of old friends (and cats) long gone.
Thank you, Brian May, for writing this tribute to the cat you grew up with.

I knew I would pick '39 before I even saw the list. Too bad "Good Company" is not an option. May does all the vocals plus plays all the instruments including that crazy ukulele.

I still remember distinctly my first encounter with with '39, listening to a friend's vinyl: I just couldn't believe the layers and layers of vocals and guitars.

There are a lot of good songs here, some of them big hits, which demonstrate that Queen was not just Freddie. I have always especially liked the breeziness of You and I.

Hard to choose, there are lots of great tracks here, maybe Sheer heart attack this time

Tie Your Mother Down.
Funny how most 80s output was avoided.
I like Deacon's Back Chat on Hot Space as well as Taylor's Action This Day.

I'm not sure but maybe '39 of May.

Sheer Heart Attack.
Surprised to see '39 getting so many votes (so far) Always thought that was a fairly bland song.

'Keep yourself alive' but only because, 'Dead on time' isn't in the list.

If You Can't Beat Them is by Deacon and it's a great song.
Checked twice , not on the list.

All dead, all dead - that layered guitar section in the middle is breathtaking - listen to it almost 40 years and everytime I heard it I've got goosebumps. But there are a lot of great songs. And if there is May's furious Dead on time I'd probably choose that one too.

Maybe next time, in the meantime you have every right to laugh. I compromised with "I want to break free", only to be required for "If You Can't Beat Them"... which I really prefer too! I must confess that Hot Space is the album that put me off Queen...

Ouch! But they went to space, and then, so many years later, because of the speed of light... Wait a minute, you didn't cry with Interstellar either, did you?

nothing to be embarrassed about, what's that expression 'to each its own"?
I understand why some people dislike Hot Space. But I've always liked it.

I think the basic story of '39 is very similar to "Interstellar" (Christopher Nolan's movie), being both emotional about the final reunion, that's it.

I was tempted by 39, as it as well as being composed by May, he sings lead vocals.
But Keep Yourself alive is just such a storming song. Just watched the official video and the resemblance of Freddie Mercury to Luke Spiller (vocalist with The Struts who worked with Mike Oldfield) is utterly spooky.

Almost every song Brian wrote is a must in my book, so I find hard the choice between them. I love "Leaving home ain't easy", but leaving others behind is difficult.

I think what we need is a series of Queen solo albums polls, and I'll remember to include Paul Rodgers, although I'm not so sure about Adam Lambert.

^ Hmmm... Let me see, I'm pretty much more a Rodgers-voter than a Lambert-voter, but who am I to tell? "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few (or the one)"

From the ones on the list I voted for '39 but my favorite is The Prophet's Song (also by May). It rivals Bohemian Rhapsody in my book.
Oh oh people of the earth...
