I just discovered this band from Norway. I would say they are symphonic but maybe crossover.  https://saigaantelope.bandcamp.com/" rel="nofollow - https://saigaantelope.bandcamp.com/

We have tightened up the band suggestion process..or well we’re insisting that new suggestions are done like we originally asked of members
Please read this: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=122381

I do this for fun. Being that I'm not technically an approved volunteer on here I'm not going to bother doing all the work involved in creating a bio. I'm sure you will see a decrease in the suggestions on here.Plus I have no real stake in the band. I'm not in the band and I'm not a promoter or associated with the band in anyway. I just do this for fun and many of my suggestions(until now)have made it onto the prog archives. You have a right to do things the way you want just as I have right to get off the bus at this time. It's great if someone wants to pick up and do one for this band. If not really no skin off my back. Regardless, good luck with the new procedure/protocol. I hope it works out and not too many others "jump ship" like I just did.

No need to defend yourself. It is what it is.
Collabs become collabs for fun too y’know
Just an fyi: these rules have actually always been here....just not followed up on...which has lead to this part of the forum being treated as a dumping ground for bandcamp/YouTube links...and then it is expected that maybe two collabs from X team on the other side of the curtain write biographies, find pics, add albums as well as all the other little things that come up when adding an artist to PA...and they have to do that with the other 80 acts who are waiting in line.
Nahh...this is much better. If members want to have X band included on the archives, they need to show some initiative themselves.

We may see a decrease in suggestions sure...but have you seen how many suggestions there are in this part of the forum and just how many are appending approval? It’s way out of control and something definitely needed to happen.
Personally I don’t mind a decrease in suggestions. Maybe we will see an increase in quality - both from the bands/artists suggested but also in the actual suggestion threads

^ All of that.

It also helps us to find the kinds of people who would make great collabs, as it is the kinds of people who take initiative and are willing to step-up, as well as showing an understanding of how things works, that get asked to become "official" volunteers. Not everyone would want to put the time and effort into such things, but some do care about such things and want to help out. It may not all be fun as a collaborator, but at least it should be satisfying. :)

Well, I hope you guys will at least consider this band and do what is necessary. I don't typically suggest bands who I feel are "crappy." Who knows I might eventually decide to do the "homework" and follow the protocol but I just don't really have the time or energy for that right now and I think others are maybe more enthusiastic about it and better suited than I but hey you never know.

aside from the procedure issue, I didn't find their music overly progressive so far, the crossover team may accept this project though
we will need some required band informations in any case

Here is an old post from the band themselves( a member of the band is apparently a member here). Someone suggested them before. Yes, I know this is an old post but I just happened to be looking for something else and came across it.  http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=121389&FID=1

Thanks a lot!

Here's our official bio, if it's of any interest:

Saiga Antelope is a progressive art rock act based in Oslo, Norway, though they originate

from the town of Bodø, Norway. The group draws heavy inspiration from a wide variety of

progressive rock and art rock acts from the last thirty years, and have a certain fascination

for conceptual music. Consequently, the music is quite varied in nature, and primarily

characterised by the aspect of conveying stories.

The group, founded in early 2016, consists of both the original members, Jakob Gåre (keys,

vocals, bass, etc.) and Sindre Abelvik (vocals, acoustic guitars), and both are responsible for

the writing and composition of the group’s repertoire. They surround themselves with

several musicians, including Kaya Marie Abelvik who perform vocals, and is also considered

an official member of the group. The group’s first single Conception was released in

November of 2018, their second single The Haze in March of 2019. Both are precursors to

their upcoming debut album, The Grand Endeavor, which was released on the 18th of

October 2019.

have had a listen to their latest album, and (as a member of Crossover / Post Team), le me say they can be fit for Crossover turf. Not my cup of tea though.

Will alert Team.
