I've been trying to upload a psychedelic jpeg image of Jimi Hendrix. The picture shows up in my preview box, but for some strange reason I'm still stuck with my original avatar. I've tried to upload the image three times now without success.
I'm not very good with computers, as you can probably tell.

There's a button at the bottom that says "UPDATE PROFILE" , please press before leaving the page (and after uploading the new image, of course) |

Occasionally there are problems with image uploads, true. I could always solve this so far while converting (not renaming!) to another graphic file format, f.e from JPG to PNG (or vice versa) ------------- https://awesomeprog.com/users/Rivertree" rel="nofollow">  |

just for the technical background ... for the sake of security reasons, web server which allow image uploads regularly are using a background application which automatically scans uploads for errors, viruses and restrictions like file size aso ------------- https://awesomeprog.com/users/Rivertree" rel="nofollow"> |

Thanks for your help guys. "Update Profile" is what I'd neglected to do previously, and as you can see, I now have a colourful new avatar, with special thanks to Quinino.
