From the limited posts you have put here, it seems like there is a little baiting on your behalf as well. There is not much wrong with the replies, apart from being a little childish. What's the big deal. This is a public forum and this sort of interaction should be expected.

look, i'm fed up to be treated like a jerk, and see here other members treating some as jerks too: i'm a respectable member here in the PA and i can't accept to be treated like that! i'm always serious in my actions, and i don't find it funny! I have a professional job and nobody at work bash me one tenth of this, in the worst case! there is no place for such people here! i would like to be an administrator so that i can make some clean up, for a better prog place. I work in the control domain and i'm particularly EXCELLENT regarding control applications! give me the possibility to ban some undesirables and be sure people will post here in a VERY constipated manner! one warning, then OUT!

I am very tolerant but now it seems i have enough! things must change, believe me!

Seriously, your posts often suggest otherwise. You're not agressive or engage in personal attacks or anything like tgat, but your posts often are dogmatic and demeaning to anything which you don't consider prog.

Posting "I HATE Tool" for instance doesn't seem very tolerant to me ...

Obviously this childish little personal attack by mr. green back can't be taken seriously, but I'd like to say a few words to defend myself. I was merely giving greenback a little taste of his own medicine by writing that comment and I don't see how anyone would take it entirely seriously; see what greenback wrote about Tool in that thread and you'll see what I mean.

No I don't remember which thread it was, but it doesn't matter. Just see greenback's first post in this thread.

The thread is " worst band Ever"

http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=9747&KW=carcass&PN=0&TPN=2 - http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=9747&a mp;a mp;KW=carcass&PN=0&TPN=2

in which case Greenback has done nothiong wrong to post bands that he thinks atr the worst. If he puts carcass in his list, whats the problem? Logos you're reaction was over the top I feel, but theres no way you should be banned for it!

Also him stating that he hates Tool...................so what?

Yes, remember that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

I have to agree, it was a "worst band ever" list. Greenback can say whatever he wants about any band in that thread. He isnt trolling a tool thread.

Given the nature of that thread, I can't see any reason to ban anyone here.

Off you go to either the Fight Club thread, or the Hugging thread!

Wow.  People really do need to get thicker skin around here.  I'm sorry, but are we all a bunch of 7 year olds who have to go crying to mommy everytime someone says something that could be considered remotely offensive.  Logos and Greenback, get over it.  If that's the worst thing that someone has ever done to you, you should feel very fortunate indeed.

Sorry to go off here.  But this "He called me a weinie", "but he said..." just gets on my nerves a little bit.

Greenback, develop a sense of humor.  Logos, develop a sense of humor.  As I've said in many posts before, can't we all just agree to not get along.  Don't take everything so personally folks.  It's just a message board after all.

I think that what Greenback wrote about Tool seems childish too and offensive for Tool fans, emphasazing too much his hate to that band.
Logos' answer is completely justified and sarcastic, using Greenback's words but applying them to him.
On the other hand, Toob-Wurm's comment deserves a serious warning.

I guess Toob-Wurm's comment was only a joke, since he posted a "" after it.

There are children freezing their butts off after the earthquake in Pakistan, some have lost their parents, and in the UK a 3 year old boy spends 42 days in the house with his dead mother before anyone notices and we have people arguing about "he said this he said that"?????

Well, seeing that neither Greenback nor Logos had any personal fights on that page, I thought the problem was more or less resolved. That is why I though it was a bit random.

Yes it is worthy of our concern, but as I've said in some of MarktheShark's threads, we can talk about how tragic and destructive something is, but that's all we can really do: talk. We, as just a few citizens of whatever country, have little influence in larger matters.

Yes, I think It was. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be discussed
