First heat now with four quite popular but not "big 6" band. There will be a second one of these, and then a number of themed ones. I made a list of eight bands for these two heats and drew lots about who goes where, so don't complain if you don't find this appropriately balanced, neither do I. Renaissance vs. Porcupine Tree vs. Rush vs. Marillion now! |

I'll be honest, I'm only familiar with the Rush ones, but I really, really like Exit... Stage Left. Renaissance...from this list. A lovely 'best of' selection. However, I'd have voted for All the World's a Stage too. Every other Rush live album had songs which didn't improve on the studio versions, but that live album did on many tracks. ------------- “Living in their pools, they soon forget about the sea.” |

| I grew up listening to Exit Stage Left on replay, so it is hard to vote against that. But I think that the Carnegie Hall concert by Renaissance is the best listed here. |
