Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap - AC/DC

999 Emergency - Girlschool

...and there's a track on the album "Lennon and McCarthy" by the band 25th May which is about "0898" telephone numbers - can't remember the title, as I taped the album at college and didn't write down the track names... stoned again! Brilliant album - like intelligent PWEI with legs!

Alan Hull's fine instrumental STD 0632 is worthy of mention in these hallowed pages. (From his excellent "Pipe dream" album)

Try '90125' by Yes - legend has it that if you get the area code correct you get through to a recorded message:

"I'm sorry, Yes are unable to write a decent album this year, but if you think this album is poo, wait 'til we release 'Big Generator' - in the meantime, please blow a rasberry after the tone"
