Anyone here ever heard of the podcast Welcome to Nightvale? I have been getting really into it. It's a radio news show from a fictional desert town called Nightvale, which discusses all the supernatural occurrences in the town. The radio show host, Cecil, also talks about his personal life and there are many characters like Carlos the scientist, the five headed dragon Hirem McDaniels, the Faceless Old Women who secretly lives in your home, the Hooded Figures, the Sheriff's Secret Police, etc. It's kind of a dark comedy horror, if it had to be a genre. But what I love about it is how open they are to everything. They also have "The Weather" in each episode which is independently produced music. I am almost passed the second year and I love it!

I've been meaning to check it out since you posted in Vomp's supernatural thread. Thanks for the reminder!

I've listened to the first few episodes.  Pretty entertaining and surreal and I think there are a couple of offshoot podcasts that have more centralized stories taking place within that universe.
