Apoptosis is freshly baked prog rock/metal band from Slovenia. The band was formed about a year ago and shortly after that we hit the studio to record our first single Metanoia. We had some really big troubles with the recording procedure since we paid some nice amount of money, waited for almost half a year for the edit, mix and master to finish and got recording quality below what we expected.

Anyway, we gave our best and it's our first song and many better are to come. So we want to hit the studio again sometime in summer and record our first EP in much much better quality.

You can support us via Bandcamp so we can record the EP as soon as possible, listen to the song on Youtube, comment the song or like us on our Facebook page! All support will be greatly appriciated.

Hi there Andrej and welcome to PA
Just wanted to let you know that you need to have released a full release (EP is fine) before PA can include you in it's database. When you guys have finished yours' sometime during summer then be sure to update this thread accordingly.
Cheers
David

Hi, I would like to ask the administrator to move the topic accordingly since we did not manage to release the full EP yet.

I would also like to share with you some information about what's going on with us.

After our first single release (that we now deleted from YouTube due to the low production quality) we wanted to hit the studio to record the other songs that would shape our debut album. And we sort of did. Sort of. Our band hit some problems along the road. First of them being the lack of money, second, we lost our singer and since then we didn't quite found another one.

We tackled those two problems with two choices that would become the reason that the debut album is taking longer than expected. We decided to record, edit and mix all the songs on our own. Our foreknowledge of music production? Less than zero. So it took a while to learn how to use even a DAW. The second problem we solved with a decision that made one of the songs an instrumental song. For the other songs we found different singers who were prepared to collaborate.

A while ago we released a debut single that I would like to share with you, from the upcoming album that was well received (beyond our expectations). Despite the fact that we almost lost the spirit due some of the problems mentioned above, we are working really hard to release the rest of the songs as soon as possible in the best as possible form. In a month or two should be the release date :) below you can check out our debut single:

So if you would like to support us in any way it would really help us out. You can share our debut single, make a positive feedback or donate to our band via bandcamp. Everything will be really appreciated and give us motivation for further song writing.

Hey man, it might be a bit tricky to coordinate, but if you guys can get the parts recorded, I'd be happy to do engineering/production for you. I've done a fair amount of production, and I'd be happy to do it for not too high a price. Let me know if you're interested.

Hi,

You have very talented mucisians in your band! I especially liked the song "Shaping the Creation". There was so much different moods in that one song and kinda like many genres too. I added it to my playlist:  http://open.spotify.com/playlist/0KUGJ27lAQ1PhvHEIs83ys?si=2goY2Uw5Q1KJjcs6tISyPQ" rel="nofollow - https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0KUGJ27lAQ1PhvHEIs83ys?si=2goY2Uw5Q1KJjcs6tISyPQ
