RUSH...Their first album may be a poor man's Zeppelin but it's rich to me. I won't allow my progsnobbishness to deafen me to aural pleasure. I like liked RUSH RUSH when it debuted. I like it today. PT's Incident, incidentally arrives a distant 2nd.

Civilian gets a lot of bad raps but I actually like it. I revisit it at least once a year and enjoy all tracks. I know what the boys were on about at the time and to me it is sophisticated contemporary rock with a touch of the odd time signatures here and there that they were renowned for previously (it's not AOR) and you can tap your foot to (most of) it. |

The Camel album. OK but a classic Ice takes the cake. The Rush album's fine but the material's better live in this case. |
