What do you think about adding  Richard Wahnfried's albums? His works are as prog as Schulze is...
Albums like:

  • Time Actor
  • Miditation
  • Trancelation
  • Trance Appeal
  • Drums 'n' Balls
are great and can be considered prog.

And if not Wahnfried, why not add these albums in Schulze's category, since he contribuited to them?

the "Whanfried" project is definitely an interesting addition for the archives. "Time Actor" is a masterpiece of electronic prog, featuring great figures of prog music as Arthur Brown, Michael Schrieve. the rest of the discography sounds a bit as Ashra (during the "Correlations", "belle alliance" period)

Let me think about an eventual addition in a near future

Thank you for your opinion,phillipe...You are right,Time Actor is a great album...

I remembered two other Wahnfried albums:

  • Tonwelle
  • Megatone
Count them in too.

"Richard Wahnfried" is not a guy, by the way; it is the name of the band. An illusion to Richard Wagner and his residence (which Wagner had called "Wahnfried"). I'm all for the addition, by the way.

Good call - frequently overlooked. Dark Side of the Moog could also be added, even though most of the albums were onle limited editions.

Yes,I'm sorry,I knew that,I don't know how it slipped (although I see Richard Wahnfried-the name in drums and ball on keyboards)

Dark Side Of The Moog is AN EXCELLENT CHOICE.First that it is more Schulze on DSOTMg than on the Wahnfried.

I know Schulze is under construction for the moment, but please consult with the collaborations too, except Stomu maybe ,these are not far from Schulze, thus not far from prog...

Tonwelle - the missing Ash Ra album perhaps ??  Also worthy of mentioning, the wonderful Robert Schroeder - Floating Music is a beautiful slab of Electronic prog.
