I can't tell the difference between most of them, so I randomized and got leeks.

I don't really care for onions...

..aside from deep fried.

I just started salivating thinking of a nice thick Alberta AAA burger with some greasy fried onions on it, so that won over my vote.

Onion rings, scallions and some good ol' fashioned white onions top my list, too.

Onions are pretty important for Japanese food NIKUJAGA (stewed beef, potatoes, and onions).

I love sliced fresh salad onions with vinegar and soy sauce.

Big onion man here--  apparently onions are the single most common ingredient in prepared dishes.

I like the red, sometimes a nice scallion.   Least favorite are the white but I do use them.

20 hours of post have gone walkabout. I suspect for some reason or another M@X has had to recover the forum data from a backup.

Yes! First thing I do when getting groceries is check if we're not out of onions.

I foolishly forgot that garlic was of the allium genus, but then whoever doesn't like garlic is of no interest to me as they evidently lack taste and a discerning palate. Wink

Haha, Dean's way of filtering his friends: the onion sieve.

Oh, and what about round vs banana shallots? Shocked
