The second trio with no doubts, but sooner or later the Genesis fanboys will arrive

Just like the last one, I'm a fan of Genesis and Yes but not quite as keen on the bands accompanying them. However, Yes > Genesis, so #2 it is.

The quartet without Porcupine tree and Marillion.

This was a really tough one. Genesis are probably my favourite of the "Big 5", but not much more than Yes. I really like Porcupine Tree, they were one of the best modern Prog acts but Marillion are my favourite band. I don't much care for Magma or Can, but if I'd have to choose it would be Magma.
Second option for me.

And another.
----------------------------------------------------------------
I'm voting for the first. Can and Magma are my favourite bands in the list, and are two essential to me bands, but I find myself listening to a little more Can than Magma these days. Magma was love at first listen ("(Iss) Lansei Doia" is what hooked me), but Can took a while for me to appreciate.
Also, I've been more into Genesis than Yes (though early Yes is nice). I don't play Marillion or Porcupine Tree, but I have rather liked early PT.

^ Just about the same for me. Instead of Can and Magma being essential bands, Yes and Genesis take that spot. I like Genesis more than Yes and I listen to Can a lot more than Magma, which I have yet to really get into. And I don't like Porcupine Tree nor do I like Marillion, they just aren't my thing. Therefore, choice 1 easily wins.

Genesis=Marillion Yes>PT Can=Magma (I hate both equally)
So option 2, just.

Oy. Idk.
All but Magma have parts of their discog that are not good. I guess option 1, but it's close.

Incredible. Before I voted earlier, it was 1:12, now it's 12:12. (Unless my short term memory fools me, which may well be given that somebody in the meantime wrote that they went for Team 2.)

Pretty easy vote for me being a massive fan of Genesis and Porcupine Tree plus I love Can too.

No, it's the PT fanboys (like myself) you needed to worry about

Tough one but I went for Yes/Marillion/Magma. I do not like Can or Magma, but overall Yes and Marillion are stronger.

Option 2. Yes and Magma are my biggest favourites, and Marillion has some fine albums.
