The forum topic funny prog story by The Minstrel reminded me of one curious event.

Once when I was watching the adult movie classic "Emmanuelle" (French, from 70's), the score during the hot scene sounded very familiar to me and it occured to be theme of "Larks' Tongues In Aspic Pt.II" by King Crimson, with different arrangements.

Have any of you ever spotted similar situation, i.e. prog rock piece as a score for adult movie?

Oh, and sweet american neocons, please don't ban me for that!

Cant think of a sex movei, but R rated, I remember during a sex scene in 91/2 weeks Jean- Michel Jarre's 'Arpeggiator' is playing in the background...good song.

Well ... not an adult film, but it is rated 'R' ...

In the movie "Buffalo 66", as the would-be killer stalks across the strip-club, gun in hand ... everything slows down and the only thing heard is the bassline from "Heart of the Sunrise".

Also, elsewhere in the movie there is a tap dance sequence to King Crimson's "Moonchild".

yeah.... I wouldnt know about X rated, but I believe Risky Business was R rated in America, and of course that score was done by Tangerine Dream.

Tubular Bells made it worldwide because of the The Exorcist. And as said in a previous thread on the same subject - Fripp successfully sued the producers of Emmanuelle for plaguarism a couple of decades after the film's first appearance

My friend, an occasional adult film watcher, seems to have been hearing all kinds of sorts of excellent instrumental prog/rock in adult films, and he was wondering if any of you know where he can obtain info on the scores of these movies, he's especially eager to know the name of the track in the final scene of 'Magnificent Blondes'.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think it's porn, as they don't show anything in it. Erotic drama? Well, it's a OK movie, I think.

I always wondered, what was the musicguy thinking, when he did the plagiation? Has anybody done "redux" version, overdubbing the scenes with real KC?  You could also play parts of it on the screen, if you do cover version of LTiA2 on a gig.
